Placement Instructions
Select the appropriate size using the reference scale on the packaging.
Grasp the thicker, flexible intraoral ring by reaching through the thinner extraoral ring so the tabs face downward.
Pinch the inner ring between your thumb and middle finger to create wings.
Place the retractor first on one corner of the patient’s mouth, then on the other, while the patient opens slightly.
Ask the patient to gently close their mouth to relax the lips, and position the inner ring deep into the vestibule behind the upper and lower lips.
