Prime CMCP
is a camphorated parachlorophenol (CMCP) liquid antiseptic and disinfectant agent. Prime Dental Products endodontic catalog. It is used professionally for root canal disinfection, cavity cleansing, and treating periapical infections.
Composition & Action
Active Bactericide:~35% p-Chlorophenol for targeting and eliminating bacteria and fungi within the root canal system.
Solubilizing & Antiseptic Agent:~65% Camphor, which reduces irritation, helps solubilize the parachlorophenol, and aids deep penetration into root anatomy.
Primary Clinical Indications
Root Canal Disinfection: Sterilization of internal root canal spaces following pulpectomies or pulp dressings.
Infected Canals: Management of complicated pulpitis, periodontitis, and periapical infections.
Cavity Preparation: Disinfection of dentine post-cavity preparation and treatment of post-traumatic inflammation.
