Description
CeraSeal Bioceramic Sealer
is used for root canal filling after the removal of infected pulp tissue in the root canal. CeraSeal is in the form of a flowable paste and can be immediately inserted into the root canal using a disposable tip. This product characteristically cures slowly by absorbing the ambient water inside the root canal. It is white and
aesthetic.
Indication for Use:
– Permanent obturation of the root canal following vital pulp-extirpation.
– Permanent obturation of the root canal following removal of infected or necrotic pulp and placement of intracanal dressings
– CeraSeal is suitable for use in the single cone and lateral condensation technique.

The wash-out phenomenon can happen if the MTA or MTA based sealer is not sufficiently cured or the exudate is produced in the root canal. Consequently, the root canal sealer is washed away by physical forces. CeraSeal prevents by curing faster than other sealers.
It’s Calcium Silicate!
Calcium silicate produces CAH (Calcium Aluminate Hydrate) gel and CSH (Calcium Silicate Hydrate) gel by absorbing the moisture from surrounding tissues in the root canal and some crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)2).
