Sealmax+
is a bioceramic root canal sealing material based on MTA, provided as a powder and resin combination. When mixed, it forms an efficient root canal sealant with superior sealing capacity and exceptional tissue compatibility. Its hydrophobic nature ensures a tight seal, promoting excellent adaptation to the root canal walls during obturation. Sealmax+ is highly effective in preventing leakage and provides long-lasting results, making it a reliable choice for endodontic procedures. No moisture required for setting: Activators in powders makes resin set.
Calcium hydroxide release on surface when encounters moisture: Bio-ceramic fillers on surface when exposed to moisture releases ions and this raises pH of exposed surface, this also helps in inhibiting bacterial growth.

Composition :
Sealmax + Powder: Calcium Silicate, Tantalum Oxide, Methenamine, Titanium dioxide.
Sealmax + Resin: Epoxy resin
Dosage and Mixing: Powder and resin are mixed to a homogeneous consistency at the ratio of 1:1 w/w on the mixing-pad or glass slab using a spatula. String test can be used to confirm the consistency, which breaks when lifted 1.5 to 2.5 cm (1/2 to 1 inch) above the surface.
Setting Time: The setting time is within 24-30 hours at body temperature after mixing as per instructions.
Working Time: Working time for Sealmax + ranges from 25 to 30 minutes after mixing the powder and resin in the prescribed proportion at a temperature range of 20-30°C.
Shelf life: (2 years from the date of manufacturing) not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place. Keep the powder and resin containers tightly closed to avoid contamination.
Storage conditions: Keep Away from Direct Sunlight. Keep locked up and out of the reach of children. Store at a temperature between 10°C to 30°C.
